Our Services
Evaluations
Our assessment process includes gathering medical, developmental, and educational histories, interviewing parents/family, observing the child interact with family members, completing informal testing measures, and administering standardized testing tools. Following the assessment a comprehensive evaluation report will be provided to the family which will include recommended treatment goals as well as strategies for the family to implement at home.
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and language treatment can address a variety of communication skills, such as, producing clear speech sounds, expressing wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings, using fluent speech, understanding spoken language, and interpreting and utilizing appropriate social communication skills. In addition, we provide therapy to children that use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Community Support Services
For older teens and young adults with developmental disabilities, we provide specialized services to support community integration. Our services are focused on increasing self-advocacy skills, functional communication skills, and social language skills necessary for successful interactions within a person’s community. These services take place across a variety of settings depending on the individual’s needs.
